Ori Heffetz
Senior Consultant
Ori Heffetz is a Senior Consultant Compass Lexecon. He is a Professor of Economics at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, and a Professor and Marcy Bogen Chair for Academic Excellence at the Bogen Family Department of Economics and the Federmann Center for the Study of Rationality at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is a data-based economist, using lab and field surveys and experiments to study the psychological, social, and cultural aspects of economic behavior, well-being, and policy.
He is a co-author of Principles of Economics (McGraw Hill) and his research has appeared in leading outlets, including the American Economic Review, Management Science, American Economic Journals, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of the European Economic Association,Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and Harvard Business Review. He earned a bachelor’s degree in physics and philosophy from Tel Aviv University in 1999, a master's degree in economics from Princeton University in 2002, and a PhD in economics from Princeton in 2004.
