Kirsten Day is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Paris
Kirsten focuses on the application of economic analysis and econometric techniques in the context of a variety of competition cases, including regulation, cartel, merger, and damage assessment cases.
She has advised clients on a variety of merger cases before the European and national competition authorities, including high-profile European and global mergers such as Safran/Collins Aerospace. She is also part of the team that advises a heavy truck manufacturer in context of civil litigation following a EC infringement settlement decision.
Before joining Compass Lexecon, Kirsten was a Blue Book trainee at the Directorate-General for Competition at the European Commission where she gained experience in a unit dealing with merger control in the sector of information, communication and media.
Kirsten holds a Master’s in Economics and Competition Law from Toulouse School of Economics.
