Jiangyu is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Brussels.

Jiangyu’s work focuses on the application of economic analysis and econometric techniques to competition matters, including the assessment of competitive impacts of mergers and anti-competitive practices before the European Commission, the UK Competition and Market Authority alongside other national competition authorities.

His experience covers a range of industries including technology, manufacturing, construction materials, and financial markets, among others.

Recent examples of his work are advice on transactions such as Saint-Gobain/Fosroc, Saint-Gobain/GCP Applied Technologies and NVIDIA/Arm, as well as Article 101 TFEU investigations in the farmed salmon and financial services sectors.

Jiangyu holds an M.Sc. in Econometrics and Empirical Economics from Toulouse School of Economics and a B.Sc. in Economics from Renmin University of China.
