Gustavo Bamberger's areas of expertise include industrial organization and applied microeconomics. He has extensive experience in the economics of antitrust, merger analysis, regulated industries, damage analysis and the evaluation of asbestos liabilities. Bamberger has conducted and participated in economic studies of numerous industries, including airlines, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, cable and satellite TV, insurance, payment systems, health care, education, and electric utilities. He has provided expert witness testimony to the U.S. Senate, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, the International Trade Commission, the Department of Transportation, the Canadian Competition Bureau, the High Court of New Zealand, the New Zealand Commerce Commission, federal district and bankruptcy courts, various state regulatory agencies and arbitrators. Bamberger has published articles on the economics of airlines, higher education and vertical restrictions.
