Alexandre Nouvel is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Paris. His work focuses on applying economic analysis and econometric techniques to competition policy cases. Since joining in 2018, Alexandre has been involved in several antitrust, merger, and damage assessment cases.
Alexandre has worked on several cases in the telecommunications sector in France, including damage litigation cases in the broadband, fixed and mobile telephony markets. He has worked in a variety of other sectors, including retail, consumer goods, media, and transportation.
His prior experience includes working as an analyst in a competition consulting firm in France. He also worked as an Economist directly within a law firm specialized in damages litigation cases.
Alexandre holds a Master’s degree from the Toulouse School of Economics, where he specialized in industrial organization and worked as a teaching assistant in econometrics. Alexandre is native in French and fluent in English.
