Gloriana Alvarez is a Vice President in Compass Lexecon’s Washington, DC office. She has experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative analyses to advise clients on competition issues in M&A cases and antitrust litigation cases. Ms. Alvarez specializes in managing teams and supporting clients during all phases of the regulatory merger review process, including initial strategy discussions and filings, antitrust risk assessments, Second Request compliance and economic analyses related to the competitive effect of mergers. She also has experience contributing to expert testimony and providing trial support in a variety of antitrust litigation matters. She has worked clients in a wide range of industries, including consumer products, food distribution, telecommunications, and airlines.

Ms. Alvarez holds a MSc. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Economics from Vassar College.
