Víctor Hernández is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Madrid.

Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Víctor worked as an Economist for the Directorate-General of SME Policy at the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade and as a Pre-doctoral Researcher at Fundación de Estudios de Economía Aplicada (FEDEA).

Víctor’s work focuses on the application of economic analysis and econometric techniques to antitrust and competition policy cases. He has advised on the economics of cartels, mergers, abuse of dominance investigations, parallel trade, and damages cases. His experience covers a wide range of industries, including consumer goods, the pharmaceutical sector, telecommunications, and transportation.

He holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a B.A. in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. During his studies, he specialized in econometrics and prediction.
