Susan Nutt

Susan Nutt is a Vice President with Compass Lexecon based in New York. After receiving her Master’s in Economics from the University of Virginia, she started her professional career at Compass Lexecon in 2009, consulting on mergers, damages, and price-fixing matters. Specifically, she estimated econometric models, conducted economic analysis and supported expert testimony. She then attended the New York University School of Law and spent the subsequent five years in finance as, first, an investment banker and, second, a merger arbitrage investment analyst. She helped advise companies pursuing strategic transactions and analyzed antitrust risk across a range of industries. She returned to Compass Lexecon in 2023, adding her legal education and M&A experience to her economics background.
