Linchun Chen

Linchun Chen is a Vice President with Compass Lexecon based in Los Angeles. Dr. Chen specializes in applying econometric methods and data analysis to complex litigation settings in support of expert economic testimony. Dr. Chen has applied her expertise on various matters including monopolization, price-fixing, damage calculations, and merger simulations in a wide range of industries including pharmaceutical, healthcare, newspapers, breakfast bakeries, semiconductors, financial services, and environmental services. She received her PhD in Economics from the University of California, San Diego in 2014, her research focuses on econometric theory and empirical industrial organization. She has a master degree in Economics from the same university and holds a BA in Economics from Renmin University of China. Prior to joining, she was with Bates White Economic Consulting in the Antitrust and Competition practice, and was a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher in University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
