Jake Cheng is a Vice President at Compass Lexecon. He has ten years of experience in economic consulting and has participated in more than 20 major litigation and antitrust investigations in various jurisdictions, including China, the United States, and the European Union.

Mr. Cheng specializes in applying economics and finance theories, combined with big data, to provide empirical analysis for cases such as litigation and antitrust investigations. His expertise includes competition damage assessment, damage calculation, IP infringement assessment, and financial product valuation. His work experience covers a wide range of industries, including high-tech, digital platforms, semiconductors, financial markets and products, medical and pharmaceutical, consumer products, and industrial products.

Mr. Cheng’s research has been published in the Global Competition Review.

Mr. Cheng holds a Master's degree in Finance from MIT and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Fudan University. He is also a CFA charter holder since 2017.
