Heather Spang is a Vice President with Compass Lexecon based in Chicago. She specializes in health economics and industrial organization. She has conducted a wide variety of economic and econometric analyses related to matters of price fixing, monopolization, mergers and damages. She has conducted extensive research on issues of hospital consolidation and pricing. She has performed studies in a wide range of industries including hospital and physician services, pharmaceuticals, transportation and consumer products. Spang has a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.A. in Economics from Grinnell College.
