Gilad Levin is a Senior Vice President with Compass Lexecon based in Oakland. He has more than twenty years of experience in economic consulting, with an emphasis on the application of industrial organization economics to the analysis of antitrust and damages issues. As an economic consultant, Mr. Levin has evaluated the competitive effects of proposed mergers and joint ventures and assisted in the creation of presentations on those topics before the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, and Federal Communications Commission. He has also worked on a wide variety of litigation matters, including claims of collusion, predatory and exclusionary conduct, and damages. As part of that work, he has engaged in complex data analyses, assisted in writing expert reports, and prepared experts for deposition and trial. He has worked extensively in the electronic component, healthcare, software, entertainment, consumer products, and energy industries. Mr. Levin has B.A.s in Economics and Applied Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.
