Dr. Florian Knauth is an Economist with Compass Lexecon, based in Düsseldorf.
Florian’s work focuses on the application of economic analysis and econometric techniques to competition policy cases, including both antitrust and merger control cases.
Before joining Compass Lexecon in 2021, Florian worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE). He also spent some time at the World Trade Organisation in Geneva.
Florian holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Düsseldorf and an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Cologne. His research interests lie in International Trade, Industrial Organisation, and Labor Economics.
