Erik Dix

Erik Dix is an Economist at Compass Lexecon based in Buenos Aires. Erik is a member of the International Arbitration Practice and specializes in asset valuation, regulatory analysis, and the assessment of economic damages in the Latin American energy sector (oil and gas and electricity). He has experience in other geographies and industries as well including financial services, real estate, and hospitality.

Erik focuses on applying economic, regulatory, and financial analysis in the context of commercial and treaty disputes. Erik has contributed to the development of complex and customized valuation models, the production of expert reports, presentations, and memoranda, and the preparation of experts for hearings under ICSID, ICC, ICDR and UNCITRAL rules, among other venues.

Erik is an Industrial Engineer from Universidad de Buenos Aires, and is also a CFA candidate.
