Chris Cavanagh is a Senior Vice President with Compass Lexecon and is based in Boston, MA. Dr. Cavanagh specializes in the application of statistics and econometrics to complex litigation in a wide variety of areas. He has provided consulting expertise and expert testimony on matters involving such areas as financial markets, labor economics, commodity pricing, anti-trust economics, merger analysis, and pricing strategy. His work in finance has included statistical analyses of market micro structure, mutual fund trading execution, junk bonds valuation and options. He has examined commodity price dynamics and volatility for hedging strategies and for regulatory hearings. His work on pricing strategy has included evaluation and estimation of discrete choice/conjoint analysis in a number of industries; his work in anti-trust economics has included econometric modeling for price fixing cases and he has extensive experience in estimating complex demand systems for merger analysis and anti-trust litigation.
