Tristan Salmon is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Brussels.
Tristan’s work focuses on the application of economic analysis and econometric techniques to competition policy cases, including the assessment of the competitive effects of mergers, antitrust cases, and the estimation of damages. His experience covers a wide range of industries including energy, hearing devices, shipbuilding, aviation, and transportation, among others.
Recently, Tristan worked on the Phase II Korea Shipbuilding/Daewoo Shipbuilding merger, investigated by the European Commission. He is also part of the team that estimates damages for a heavy truck manufacturer in the context of litigation proceedings.
Tristan holds a Master’s in Economics and Competition Law and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Law from the Toulouse School of Economics. Tristan is part of Compass Lexecon’s data science team.
