Steve Hurley is a Senior Economist with Compass Lexecon based in New York. His work primarily involves valuation of businesses and assets, and economic and financial analysis in the context of commercial and investment arbitrations.

Mr. Hurley has primarily worked on arbitration proceedings under ICSID and UNCITRAL rules. His valuation experience comprises diverse industries, including mining, food and beverage, agriculture, and telecommunications. His experience involves projects in locations including Colombia, Venezuela, Romania, China, Ghana and Kazakhstan. These matters involved the development of complex and customized valuation models, the drafting of expert testimony, the preparation of expert witnesses for hearings, and direct support to counsel and client throughout arbitration proceedings.

Mr. Hurley previously worked as Senior Analyst at Compass Lexecon from 2016 to 2019. He holds a Master’s degree in International Political Economy and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Fordham University.
