Ron Laschever is a Vice President with Compass Lexecon based in Chicago. His areas of expertise include applied microeconomics, labor economics, and econometric analysis. Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, he was an Assistant Professor of Economics and Labor/Employment Relations at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an Assistant Professor of Consumer Science and Economics at Purdue University. He has published in academic journals such as American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. He received a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.
