Ron Laschever is a Senior Vice President with Compass Lexecon based in Washington, DC. His areas of expertise include applied microeconomics, industrial organization, labor economics, and econometric analysis. He has extensive experience supporting clients in M&A regulatory review, calculation of commercial damages, and in the application of econometric and statistical models to large data sets. His experience covers a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, large retailers, advertising, mortgage-backed securities and pharmaceuticals. He also has experience providing trial support.
Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, he was an Assistant Professor of Economics and Labor/Employment Relations at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an Assistant Professor of Consumer Science and Economics at Purdue University. He has published in academic journals such as American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, and Review of Finance. He received a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.
