Dr. Narsid Golic is a Senior Vice President in the Chicago office of Compass Lexecon. He works with experts and manages a highly skilled group of professionals in providing law firms, corporations, and government clients with clear insights to complex issues relating to economics and finance that arise in the context of litigation or regulatory proceedings. This includes managing teams of economists in preparing data for analysis, developing, and implementing statistical models, designing, and performing qualitative projects, and assisting experts with outlining projects, drafting reports, and preparing for depositions. He specializes in antitrust and competition, class certification, damages, securities and financial litigation, and employment litigation support. Narsid has extensive experience providing statistical analysis of large and complex datasets.

Early in his career Narsid taught undergraduate courses in economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he was awarded the Oscar Miller Award for Teaching Excellence. He received financial support to pursue his research from numerous sources including FMC Technology Inc., Richter Research Fellowship, Liautaud Graduate School of Business Fellowship, and the University of Illinois at Chicago’s provost.

Narsid earned a Ph.D. in Business/Economics and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a B.S. in Finance from North Central College.

He published a book titled Econometrics of Exchange Rate Movements and was author and co-author of multiple articles published in different legal and professional publications.
