Ferenc Pető is a Senior Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in London.

Ferenc has been involved in antitrust and merger control cases before the European Commission, the UK CMA (and its predecessors), and other national competition authorities. He has worked on antitrust and merger cases in industries including pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, financial services, live entertainment, and tobacco, among others. He has also been involved in follow-on damages cases in several jurisdictions in industries including industrial products, aviation, and pharmaceuticals.

Ferenc previously worked at the Hungarian Competition Authority and for another specialist economic consultancy. Ferenc holds an M.Sc. in Competition and Market Regulation from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics in Spain, and an M.Sc. in Economics from the Corvinus University of Budapest in Hungary.
