Eric Madsen is a Vice President with Compass Lexecon based in Pasadena. He is a CPA and a CFA charterholder who consults on complex financial issues. Mr. Madsen’s work emphasizes valuation of companies—both public and private, and U.S. and international—and other difficult-to-value assets. These valuations arise from, for example, disputes over alleged post-acquisition discoveries of misrepresented disclosures, partnership buyouts, cancellation of shareholder interests, and consideration paid for minority stakes in short-form mergers and other squeeze outs. In addition, through more than 15 years of consulting, Mr. Madsen has garnered experience in disparate industries on wide-ranging topics, including various issues in transfer pricing, breach of contract, securities fraud, labor and employment, antitrust, revenue recognition, and intellectual property matters. Mr. Madsen holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
