Edward Bond is an Economist based in Compass Lexecon’s Madrid office.
Edward’s work focuses on the application of econometric techniques to competition policy cases. He has assisted clients on a range of competition matters including follow-on damage claims, anticompetitive agreements and abuse of dominant position cases; covering industries including consumer goods, automotive and Big Tech. Edward has also been involved extensively in data disclosure proceedings before the UK court in relation to the trucks cartel case.
Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Edward worked as a research assistant at the Centro de Estudios Monetarios y Financieros (CEMFI) and has held numerous finance positions in Latin America.
Edward holds a BSc from The London School of Economics and Political Science and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
