Dr. Aleksandra Khimich is a Senior Economist at Compass Lexecon based in Paris. Her work focuses on applying economic analysis and econometric techniques to competition policy cases.

Aleksandra has performed econometric analysis for one of the major cases of abuse of dominant position in energy sector. She also worked on a project dealing with capacity mechanism in France, as well as on a major litigation case in the electricity generation domain. Aleksandra is currently providing economic support for a potential horizontal merger between major stock exchanges.

Prior to Compass Lexecon, Aleksandra worked for one of the leading strategy consultancies, where she contributed to projects dealing with demand forecasts and entry strategies in electricity and oil and gas sectors, as well as retail banking sector. She holds an M.Sc. in Economics from Higher School of Economics (NRU-HSE), an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Economics from Toulouse School of Economics (TSE).  During her studies at the TSE, she specialized in industrial organization and competition policy issues.
