Lexecon Announces Launching of Three New Practice Areas

Lexecon has announced the formation of three new practice areas under the leadership of James M. Coyne, Senior Vice President in the Harvard Square office. The Board Advisory Service provides consulting services tailored to the specific needs of the Board of Directors. The practice has two primary areas of focus: Board Education and Decisionmaking Support. The second new area is Lexecon's Transaction Support Services, which provide due diligence and transaction support services to help private equity investors capitalize on opportunities in today's energy and utilities industries. The third new practice area is Bank Support Services, assisting banks in managing their exposure in the energy and utilities industries. "Lexecon, with its 25-year history of impartial economic assessments, can provide clients with the support they need in today's business environment," said Coyne. "We combine our in-depth understanding of regulated industries with solid and persuasive analysis to assist clients to act decisively as they face the new market realities, the complexity of global business, and the increased expectations of shareholders."
