Guillermo Israilevich

Dr. Israilevich’s areas of expertise include industrial organization, regulatory economics, statistical and financial analysis, and strategy. With a deep understanding of theoretical and quantitative methods, he has provided economic analyses related to mergers, antitrust matters in regulated industry disputes, monopolization, market design, capacity markets, and tariff reviews. He has directed economic teams in the preparation of expert reports and testimony in a wide variety of industries, including health care, pharmaceuticals, software, dairy products, electricity, natural gas, and telecommunications. He has submitted testimony before the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and regulatory commissions in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Bolivia. Dr. Israilevich has also published in peer-reviewed journals and industry magazines.
Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Dr. Israilevich was a Manager at Bates White, LLC. Dr. Israilevich holds a Ph.D. in Economics and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he specialized in the fields of industrial organization, finance, and quantitative marketing.
