Gilad Levin specializes in the application of industrial organization economics to the analysis of antitrust and damages issues. He joined Compass Lexecon (formerly COMPASS) in 2004 when it acquired AES Consulting, where he had been a Senior Economist since 2000. As an economic consultant, Mr. Levin has evaluated the competitive effects of proposed mergers and joint ventures and assisted in the creation of presentations on those topics before the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, and Federal Communications Commission. He has also worked on a wide variety of litigation matters, including claims of collusion, predatory and exclusionary conduct, Robinson-Patman Act violations, and damages. As part of that work, he has engaged in complex data analyses, assisted in writing expert reports, and prepared experts for deposition and trial. Mr. Levin has a masters in economics from Northwestern University and a bachelors in economics and applied math from the University of California at Berkeley.
