Jonathan Bowater has over 12 years of experience applying economic and statistical analyses to merger, antitrust, litigation and regulatory matters.  Mr. Bowater has extensive experience applying advanced econometric and simulation techniques to issues arising in merger investigations, and presenting the results of those analyses to a non-technical audience.  His litigation experience includes extensive analytical work on behalf of Arch Coal in FTC v. Arch Coal.  Having previously worked in London, he also has experience of competition proceeding under the jurisdiction of the European Community and a number of European national competition authorities.  Mr. Bowater’s industry experience covers coal, beverages, beer, international spirits, steel, industrial and agricultural machinery, medical equipment, chemicals, air traffic control, and broadcasting.
