Ralph Scholten is a Vice President of Compass Lexecon.  He has expertise in finance and securities matters.  He has supported a wide variety of experts and directed economic studies on securities fraud, business valuation, market manipulation, corporate governance, ERISA litigation, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and market timing.  His case experience includes investment banking, hedge funds, insurance, energy, telecom, technology, internet, insurance, pharmaceuticals and automotive industries. He has assisted attorneys on all phases of litigation including review of pretrial discovery, development of economic and financial models to analyze damages, critique of analyses by opposing experts and preparation of testimony at depositions, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.  Dr. Scholten received his Ph.D. in finance from the University of Florida and has published articles in Financial Management and the Journal of Corporate Finance.  Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, he was a Senior Manager at Cornerstone Research.
