Bret Dickey’s areas of expertise include industrial organization, econometrics, and applied microeconomics. He has over 12 years of experience applying economic analysis to areas including antitrust, intellectual property, class certification, and complex damages. A particular focus of his work has been the health care industry, including pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, long-term care, Medicare, and Medicaid. His experience also spans a broad range of other industries including air transportation, consumer electronics, financial services, insurance, office supplies, semiconductors, subsidized housing, and ticketing services. Dr. Dickey has testified in federal and state courts and before the U.S. House of Representatives.
Dr. Dickey received an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, he held positions at LECG, the SPHERE Institute, and the Council of Economic Advisers.
